Professional Skills Courses

Students that matriculated prior to Fall 2016 must complete one professional skills course.  The course must have a substantial professional skills component in addition to first-year Legal Research and Writing and the Upper Level Writing requirement.  Students may not use the same course to satisfy both the Upper Level Writing requirement and the Professional Skills requirement.

 Students that matriculated in Fall 2016 or after must complete six (6) credits of experiential learning.  An experiential learning course must be a simulation course, a law clinic or a field placement.  Students may not use the same course to satisfy oth the Upper Level Wriitng requirement and the Experiential Learning requirement.
