Summer Study of Law in Ireland (Dublin & Belfast), May 30 - June 20, 2015


The Duquesne University School of Law proudly announces a three-week Summer Study of Law in Ireland international program in conjunction with the    University College Dublin Faculty of Law and the Queen's University Belfast Faculty of Law. The program will be held May 30-June 20, 2015.




This three-week program of one-week modules each in the Law of the European Union, International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, and Human Rights Law totaling 4.5 (semester) hours of ABA-approved credits. In Dublin, classes meet at the University College Dublin, Ireland's largest university (www.ucd.ie). In Belfast, classes meet at the Queen's University (www.law.qub.ac.uk/). 


Site Visits

In addition to the classroom program, a number of professional and cultural excursions are included at no additional cost.  In Belfast these include visiting the government assembly at Stormont, the Ecclesiastical Capital City of Armagh, and a day-long tour of the North Coast to see Dunluce Castle, the Giant's Causeway, and the Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. In Dublin these include site visits to the parliament, local courts, and the Howth Peninsula.
