Ryan L. Dansak received his bachelor of arts in English in 2000 from The College of Wooster in Ohio, where he was an editor for the nation’s oldest continuously published weekly college newspaper and where he earned All-American honors as the left offensive tackle on the college’s nationally ranked football team.

After college, he worked as an editor for a weekly magazine and for a pharmaceutical advertising firm in the Philadelphia area. He won an APEX Award for technical writing for an article he authored on the use of protons in medical imaging.

He attended Arcadia University in Glenside, Pennsylvania where he taught introduction English writing courses and directed the university’s writing center. Mr. Dansak earned his master of arts in English in 2003.

After graduation, he moved back to the Pittsburgh area to attend law school at Duquesne University where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2007.

Mr. Dansak is currently a partner at the Law Firm of Myers Duffy Dansak & Clegg LLC, which has offices in White Oak and Irwin. He practices in, and writes and lectures frequently on, estate planning, estate administration, and real property.

As an adjunct professor of legal research and writing at Duquesne University’s Paralegal Institute, he teaches his students how to read, interpret, and apply statutes, case law, and secondary resources in legal documents, and how to write effectively in a legal career.
