Collaborative Study Rooms

Collaborative learning environments are a key part of the law school experience. The Center strives to provide students and faculty with these leading edge tools to enhance your law school scholarship and to foster valuable presentation experience that can be utilized in the workplace.  Several different kinds of spaces are available.

Group Study Rooms

Law students have access to 10 group study rooms:

  • Keys are checked out at the Service Center Desk.
  • Available to law students only. Please remember your DU ID card.
  • Rooms are available for 2 hours with 1 renewal
  • Late key returns are subject to 50¢ per hour fines.

Each study room is equipped with:

  • a large table with ample seating
  • a 55" LED high definition monitor. Students can connect their laptop, iPad, iPhone, or any other device that has an HDMI connection.
  • Need a cable? Select PC and MAC cables are available for checkout at the Service Center Desk

Broughton Lab (G-3) - Collaborative Study Room

Broughton Lab, located in Room G-3 of the Center, may be scheduled for use by law students and faculty for collaborative study purposes and meetings. The room seats 12 comfortably. One computer is available for presentations or users may bring their own device. Please inquire at the Service Center Desk if you would like to use this room.

Conference Room (G-1A)

The Center recently renovated Room G-1A as a Collaborative Learning Space. It can be used by law students and law faculty for seminars, meetings, conferences, or as a large study room. Users may connect a laptop or other device to the 55" LED high definition monitor using an HDMI cable. Please inquire at the Service Center Desk if you would like to use this room.
