Civil Rights Clinic offers expungement workshop

Law students in the Civil Rights Clinic will staff a free expungement workshop for the public on Saturday, March 25, 2017, 4 - 7 p.m. The event is being sponsored by the Homewood Children's Village in partnership with Pennsylvania Representative Ed Gainey. Prof. Tracey McCants Lewis, the clinic's supervising attorney and interim co-director of clinical legal education, will lead the program. 

Members of the public will learn about current expungement, sealing, and pardon laws in Pennsylvania and how the Civil Rights Clinic can help income-qualified residents tap into the clinic's free legal assistance.

The event is being held at The Shop, 621 North Dallas Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
