Prof. Sizemore-Thompson discusses suspensions resulting from hoodie ban

Penn Hills school district has lifted a ban on hoodies after 41 students were suspended, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Assistant Clinical Professor Tiffany Sizemore-Thompson discussed why students of color or with disabilities were more likely to be suspended from school when the ban was in place. Sizemore-Thompson leads Duquesne Law's Education Law Clinic and Juvenile Defender Clinic.
