School of Law mourns the death of staff member Kathly Koehler

It is with sadness that School of Law reports of the death of a beloved staff member, Kathleen Koehler. Koehler supported the School of Law faculty for many years and was well known for her professional skills, gracious assistance, and friendly attitude. Law alumni fondly remember her from her work with the School of Law’s continuing legal education programs.

KATHLEEN M. (HOLLERAN) KOEHLER
1954 - 2017

Age 62, of Ross Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017. Beloved wife of Tom; devoted mother of Geoffrey (Elizabeth) Koehler and Holly (Justin) Thiel; proud grandmother of Sydney, Liam and Morgan; sister of Mary Josephine (the late Martin) Hehman, Francis (Mary Kay) Holleran, Nora (Kenneth) Kenski, Patricia (John) Seibert, Ann Therese (Michael) Martinick, Suzanne (Thomas) Newman and the late Maureen Deppe and James Holleran; also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1032 Perry Hwy, Ross Twp., 412-364-4444. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption on Friday at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 320 Bilmar Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
